I began my PhD at Cambridge in 2021. Growing up in Taiwan, I received a BSc in Biological Science from the University of Hong Kong and a MA in science and technology studies (STS) from the University of British Columbia.

My thesis, tentatively titled 'Harvesting Diversity: Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and the Politics of International Agricultural Research, 1960–2000', studies the interaction between plant breeders, ecologists, and anthropologists in Cold-War Southeast Asia and its influence on the different notions of diversity in food production. Apart from my PhD project, I also write about games, films, and anime. My work can be found on this website.
